Why Modesty?

Modesty Blaise is more than just a comic strip.

She is one of pop culture’s most iconic heroes: intelligent, uncompromising, and timeless.

On this website, you will find the first newly published volume that truly takes the series seriously: chronologically presented, carefully restored, and produced with deep respect for the original material by a publisher who considers Modesty Blaise his own personal favorite comic strip.

Each release is crafted for both collectors and new readers who desire the best possible reading experience. This means thoughtful design, high-quality materials, clean and classic covers, and precise reproductions of Peter O’Donnell and Jim Holdaway’s groundbreaking work. Eventually, stories illustrated by the series' other artists will also be released, always in the correct chronological order.

This is Modesty Blaise without the noise.

Without shortcuts.

Just strong stories, elegant form, and lasting quality.

And if volume number one is well received, the rest will follow—one after another.

Regards, fan and publisher
